Magie Matin lost her husband to cancer. Before he died, he asked her to follow their dream, which was to open a bed-and-breakfast. With the help of her sister Marty and close friends, she gets the bed-and-breakfast up and running.

Things that were hidden in the diary would change the lives of everyone around her for sure. Maggie continues to wonder just what her future hold and learns that she does not need to be related to be sisters.

Maggie has a setback with her Memocoma when a fire breaks out at the bed and breakfast.
They tracked down a lung recipient after a secret that George, Tina's late father, left in a letter concealed in a wooden horse. Alex built a restaurant on his property and named it Lily's by the lake. On quiet evenings, there is the mere presence of a shadowy figure. They call the shadow Lily.
