Maggie lost her husband to cancer and followed her dream, to open a bed-and-breakfast. With the help of her sister Marty and close friends, she gets the bed and breakfast up and running.
She finds herself having feelings for her husband's older brother when he shows up to pay his respects to her husband. Her mother returns to their lives after she left them when she was five. Her return brings up family genetics from her past and concerns that may affect her and her sister in the future.
